Inaugural Sports Goods Fair Teams up with Building Materials, Furniture and Environmental Protection Expos Hong Kong Fairs - “Marvellous Platforms for Suppliers and Buyers” October 27, 2007 – Four international trade fairs spotlighting the latest products and services of about 850 companies from around the world opened today and continue through October 30 at AsiaWorld-Expo. Now in their second year, the Hong Kong International Building Materials and Construction Equipment Fair, Hong Kong International Furniture Fair and Eco Expo Asia are “marvellous platforms for suppliers and buyers,” according to Fred Lam, Executive Director of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (TDC). In 2006, they brought together more than 21,000 visitors. This year, they’re joined by Sports Source Asia, a brand new international sports equipment and apparel fair. Among those attending the four fairs are about 3,800 VIPs from 156 buying missions arranged by the fair organisers.
