imageComplete sourcing solution for fine furniture
It seems there is no stopping development in this region as more and more projects come to fruition, including residential complexes, office towers, shopping malls, hotels and many more. Developers, architects, construction companies, interior designers, project managers and individual consumers are all looking for high quality, well designed furniture under one roof.

Demand for excellent furniture is at an all-time high in developed markets such as Europe and the US, this has put pressure on retailers in those markets to offer such furniture.

imageThe convergence of sourcing fairs in Hong Kong and southern part of the Chinese mainland in October will serve as the key meeting place for industry professionals. The Hong Kong International Furniture Fair is the ideal place to meet face to face with these stakeholders and show them what you have to offer.

Growing in stature every year
Coming up to the third edition of the Hong Kong International Furniture Fair, there is nothing but good news. In 2007 the fair hosted 172 exhibitors from 19 countries and regions; over 8,100 buyers came from 112 countries and regions to source quality furniture.

Attendees included buyers serving affluent emerging markets, such as Middle East and Eastern Europe. For such buyers, price is not the first consideration; they are primarily interested in unique design and solid craftsmanship.

Exhibitor's quotes
“This is our first time exhibiting in Hong Kong. The fair offers a very good opportunity to meet with new buyers and to learn more about the market. It also serves the purpose to promote our products to more new potential buyers, and we have seen good quality buyers coming through.”
Gary Morris, Director, Ambient Lounge Ltd, UK

“I was here as a visitor last year and as an exhibitor this year. I like the venue, it is near the airport and I find it very convenient to come and go by taking the Airport Express. Hong Kong is a good marketplace for us to meet with buyers who demand uniqueness and quality. I am also impressed that the fair is well-organised.”
Thomas Berg, Managing Director, Brema Marketing GmbH & Co. KG, Germany

“Our booth in the fair this year is too small for us to display more items, and we may need to occupy a larger space next year. The fair has attracted buyers from many countries and regions and we are glad to have our furniture being seen and known by more potential customers. This is a good show for us to display our good quality products.”
Ray Kwok, Marketing Strategist, Fortune Furniture Limited, Hong Kong (IFHK member)
